- Description:On March 20, 2024, a landmark in Holyhead, UK vanished from the skyline. The 450ft chimney stack of the former Anglesey Aluminium site was demolished in a controlled takedown, as shared in a video by @JKRWales. Stena Line, the current owner of the land, is clearing the site for future development as part of the Anglesey Freeport project. The demolition was carried out by Total Reclaim Demolition, a Nottinghamshire-based company.
