  • Description:It was recorded on 7 September 2022, from 4am to 8am. The video was recorded in Hillview, Singapore I noticed that printing small has significant benefits due to significantly lower print time and material reduction. For the case of the escapement mechanism, a smaller mechanism require less input force to drive and thus, will have a much longer runtime. This video documents the summary of my attempts to progressively reduce the scale of the model to identify the limits of consumer level FDM 3D printing for mechanical models.
