- Description:Hey team Unilad! On 29th of freezing November, I'm cycling 15 miles around London - completely naked! Why? To raise awareness for suicide prevention & to raise money for Mind Charity, who have seen their biggest ever increase in helpline calls since the second lockdown began. In just one week, we've managed to raise + £2,600. Any coverage to help get the word out there would be phenomenal. Due to the pressures of the first lockdown, someone very dear to me made three attempts on their life. I'm beyond lucky to say that this person is in recovery now, but my heart goes out to everyone who wasn't so fortunate, and to everyone who continues to struggle. I lost a cousin to suicide 9 years ago, so this is a cause particularly close to my heart. Lockdown 2.0 looks like another difficult mountain to climb, and as we take it on, I'm determined to raise awareness for suicide prevention, raise funds for the mental health charity Mind, and put a smile on people's faces with some much needed ridiculousness.
