- Description:Hello! I'm delighted that you are interested in featuring my video :) "Bathroom Beats" was recorded and released in November 2017. The video was shot in my house at the time, in Cork City, Cork, Ireland. In my videos, I make music using sounds taken from everyday items, places and spaces - and in Bathroom Beats, I use the sounds of my bathroom to make music! I am the only individual featured - my name is JJ Riordan, and I was 23 at the time of recording (now 26). My music is inspired by the new "found sound" mode of composition - where a number of composers are using the sounds of everyday objects to create new musical sounds and textures. I'm currently undertaking my PhD at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance exploring what found sound has to offer the world of music making. Thanks again! JJ
